Kobayashi Fuyoh is a master calligrapher and owner of the Shorainan restaurant in Arashiyama, Kyoto, which sits on the edge of a mountain and cannot be reached on foot. In this journey to the restaurant we’re taken through the heart of the forest, experience Shoraian’s food, the creation of Kobayashi’s art, and an other worldly presence.
